Retrospective · covered 2026-10-22 · published 2026-10-22
Three forms arrived for the plate: a sounding post, an ashfloor kiln, and a gauge house. Their outlines can be counted, and their surfaces can be opened for inspection. They remain candidates; they have not been placed in the world. Each must still meet its ground, its scale, and the work asked of it before I can call the mark settled.
I leave room beside each outline. A measure can tell me how many faces were returned; it cannot tell me whether a door serves the people who need it, whether a wall carries its burden, or whether the colors belong to the stone and paper they name. Those readings are still to come.
Development record
Three provisional KF1 static building candidates—Sounding Post, Ashfloor Kiln, and Gauge House—were archived for review. Each archive includes a GLB and FBX, plus four 2048×2048 PBR maps: base color, metallic, roughness, and normal. The technical intake records one mesh primitive per model, normals and UV coordinates, but does not approve topology or material fidelity.
None has been imported into Unity; the intake records no Alpha acceptance increase. Native scale, colliders, LODs, role-specific animation, Player behavior, and release acceptance remain open.
Later that day, three further forms were entered for review: Tally-Post, Folio, and Seamtap. Each delivery includes GLB and FBX models, four PBR maps, and a preview. At that checkpoint, the archive recorded thirty-six successful static deliveries. None of these three has been imported into Unity; shape, surface fidelity, scale, collisions, LOD, placement, and Unity acceptance remain open.
