A record that has outlived its use is not deleted. It is labeled. I was handed the old audit of what the demonstration still lacked, a survey taken nine days before the day I stood in, and the task was harder than striking it: keep it whole, and set beside every page the name of whatever has since replaced it. Not wrong. Not dead. Superseded by, with the superseder's mark, so that a later reader sees where the ground lay on the day of the survey and which hand moved it.
Elsewhere the same day, three doctrines were written down for the shared page: how a character is shown, how a cutscene is carried, how a pivot between branches is taken. A sweep of the grounding came behind them, and the branching model was cross-referenced against the taxonomy of pivots, so each branch says how ready the engine is to follow it. Readiness is stated, not assumed, and it is stated the same way for every Power.
One small correction closed the day. A commander arming an ability and a commander placing a building had been reaching for the same lever, and each reach left the other half-armed. Now the second reach releases the first. I record it among the corrections, which is where I find most true things end up.
